Welcome to the Mummy RPG.
Death...is only the beginning.
No harm ever came from reading a book.
I am a stranger traveling from the East, seeking that which is lost...
I am a stranger traveling from the West, it is I whom you seek.
Live free. Die well.
Rivers of blood will never bring peace...
But they will bring obediance. And that is enough for now.
I make my own destiny.

No New Posts Nile River

The Nile River, one of the longest in the world, is deep enough to travel by ship. It alone spans all of Egypt and Mesopotamia, providing valuable travel routes. It is also by the mouth of the Nile that any tourists may reach Egyptian shores - leading to Hamunaptra, Thebes, and Cairo. In the old world, the Nile was revered as a place of reflection and beauty. Much of Egypt's livelihood came from this river, and its lord, the crocodile god Sobek - was worshipped thoroughly.

No New Posts Market of Neith

Although weathered in ruins now, the walls of Neith, carved of stone and guarded zealously by Medjai maintained the city of Thebes safely within the walls. Within this stone lay a marketplace visited from all neighboring peoples. During ancient times, it was a gathering place for worship, gossip, and speeches - in addition to selling/buying wares. In the center of the marketplace, a grand pyre on a marble altar - giving thanks to the gods. Four corners of this square are marked with onyx columns of the god Anubis; the Bracelet is located somewhere within the ruins of this city.

No New Posts The Audience Chamber

The gold and marble chamber where Pharoah Seti and his host of Egyptian nobles were entertained by sparring, dancers, and musicians. It is decorated with axes, stakes, and feathered fans on the walls, as well as golden masks.

No New Posts Temple Alcoves

The Egyptian royal family resides in varied rooms of the temple - including the Pharoah, Ank Su Namun, and Nefertiri. An adorned golden doorway leads to an altar. The marble is lined on either side by representations of various gods, and occasionally with guards. Sheer gossamyr curtains hung by golden hooks obscure the bed at the end of the room, which offers a patio and a beautiful alabastor balcony overlooking Thebes' streets below.

No New Posts Pharoah's Treasury

The wealth of Egypt; an enormous underground trove of gold and jewels, from statues to sphinxes, chests full of inset jewelry, tombs, to piles of riches tossed at least three feet high. Crossing through this room will take you to the Statue of Horus.

No New Posts Temple Corridors

The temple is full of narrow stone walkways, halls, trapdoors, and pavilions that once held statues. Etched into the walls - beware - are indentations of pharoah carvings with scarab beetle shells embedded within the stone. Vast, empty chambers smoldering with decay, cobwebs, and dirt can prove quite foreboding in the darkness.

No New Posts Ahm Shere

The lost oasis of Ahm Shere is said to be resting place of Anubis' army. The Bracelet alone gives its location - deep within the sacred desert. Full of rich green flora, thick palm trees, and in the center a pyramid of solid gold adorned with an enormous diamond at the tip, the oasis is a deceptive paradise. Expeditions led by Ramses IV, Alexander the Great, Caesar, and Napoleon vanished without a trace; owing to the curse of mummified pygmies, many who venture into the oasis perish - devoured, tortured, or mummified. Only shrunken heads and decayed corpses remain. It is also the resting place of the tyrant, Memnon.

No New Posts Valley of the Dead

Located near Canaan, this stretch expanse of desert is almost inhabitable - it is the route from Egypt into Gomorrah, but it is not an easy trek. Rumored that the Nubian lord Balthazar has made camp within the Valley. The only water for miles - a beautiful, expansive waterfall trailing the Euphrates, belongs to him and his people.

No New Posts Euphrates River

Trails from the Valley of the Dead to Gomorrah. Follow this River if you wish to reach Memnon's city. However, it is dangerous; there are crocodiles, scorpions, and other miscreant creatures who lure around this strip of fertile territory.

No New Posts Sodom and Gomorrah

Within the walls of this city lies the infamous palace of the barbarian tyrant, Memnon. In ancient times, it was rich and dangerous - beware the street urchins who may steal your purse. Liquor, stallions, and spies are prevalent. Memnon often hosts bazaars - celebrations - in the city to mark his successes. The walls and Memnon's guards make the city almost impervious to attack...beware upon entry. It is said that Memnon keeps his most treasured items in a cove beneath the palace - including his sorceress. And perhaps Osiris' Sceptor.
